What is the greatest lesson you have ever learned from your Mother? Does it have anything to do with caring? Or is it more profane like doing your laundry? It does seem auspicious for you to remember what this trait may be in the coming days.  What you need to do is either write your Mom a letter, or contact her anyway you can to thank her for this gift.  It will strengthen the bond between the two of you; it will also strengthen this trait in you. Gemini (May 21-June 20)

How the mind functions in today’s world is a mind boggler.  With every variety of toxic wave zipping through the atmosphere, surfing through our bodies; how does the mind shut out some bits, and keep in others.  It’s the waves, its the information, its the novelty–all coming too fast.  Gemini teach us how to maintain. This is a serious question: If you could go back in time, would you? Even to see it, you wouldn’t have to live there.  What do you think you would do? Would you respond well to your old “image.”  It’s a serious existential question.  Would you actually do it? If there is a part of you nodding up and down, you found it.  You found the piece of your history that is slowly pouring ashes over the spirits flame. You must make peace and let go now.  It is time to move forward without looking back.

Virgo (Augest 23-September 22)

You ever wish you were as free as the Rainbow kids.  The idea of the open road, no worries, no lies, just the open skies.  Shoot, maybe you were one in your prime.  I bring this “wish” up mainly to remind you not to be the one with their arms crossed in the coming nights.  If you attend a party this week, you dance. If you go to a show, you dance. If you go out to dinner, dance.   The reason for this is unknown, but just trust me on this one ok.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

The business Guru Dale Carnegie says the key to making people like you is in remembering their names.  How many times do you meet people who say, “I soooo bad at remembering names?” It’s kind of frustrating right.  This week, you are out to test a theory–Dale’s theory.  Use pneumatic devices, use whatever works; just make sure you remember the names.  Notice the responses.  You will win more friends guaranteed. Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

Do you know your power animal? No seriously, we all have one…do you know? Mines a red tailed hawk.  This week is auspicious for (re)uniting with your animal.  In some of you, your animal may be gone.  There are many things that can cause this such as drugs, trauma, and fear.  Wherever your stance is currently at in this vital alliance, you must reunite this week. So be creative.  Treat yourself to a spin on your day to day. You can be unrealistic.

Can you taste it? Or maybe this is not your future and it is mine.  What does yours look like? Does it make you feel good? If not, you should change it. There is no need to feed Fear into the future.  It’s an unfortunate monster you should avoid.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Spock and Kirk make a perfect team.  A duo of brilliant alien minds; one logical, the other completely illogical.  They keep each other in check. Like two grown children who have mastered communication. Who keeps you in check, like this Trekkie duo? When was the last time you were defeated by logic? Have you ever let it? If not, do.  It will help the mind rest in the coming days.

Taurus (April 20-May 2o)

Brian Eno, a man who makes music for airports, says, “If you want to make someone feel emotion, you have to make them let go. Listening to something is an act of surrender.” And so he makes music to allow people to let go in airports.  A brilliant idea really.  And so, Brian and I challenge you not to go to an airport necessarily, but to some public place that makes you sick (anxious), put on your headphones, press shuffle, and allow the magic of your music selection narrate the day as it goes by. If in Boulder, 12th and Pearl is prime local.

I swear Spring is already here.  It either happens because of too much chocolate fire on V day, or an over-abundance of Shiva lingams being worshiped a few days prior.  Whatever the case, the Sun is slowly rising. Leo (July 23-August 22)

To reference the Matrix for the 111th time…you know how “in the Matrix” they plug into it through the back of there heads.  Once logged on, they can download programs into their mainframe.  Well, there is a lot of truth to this.  I feel its actually more like reality than it is a fiction.  This idea of logging into certain programs should be a concern of yours for the next 7 days.  You should figure out what program grabs your attention and why.  Shop around, no rush.  Just make sure its good for the heart!

Virgo (Augest 23-September 22)

Isnt it strange how our version of the future, as we dream it, is never the same once we get there.  I actually think we forget about the version once the future moment hits.  A disappearing at phenomenal speeds.  Remember, all your dreams for this upcoming growing season, all the things you want to build and all the projects you want to start, just remember: “When fantasies become realities, ego’s get shattered.” Don’t be attached to your dreams, you will just get lost. (but still dream…of course).

Libra (September 23-October 22)

The Beatles song enters my cerebral jukebox, “…with just a little help from my friends…..” Ahhhh. Nostalgic.  This week, make sure you make it to at least two gatherings.  Show your face twice.  You are both warming up for the rays of Summer, and setting yourself up for a synchronized event that will occur in the turn of the day on Thursday.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

No need to fear,  the phobianaught appears.  Look, every ones broke, or is slowly breaking.  Stop worrying about your debts, its not helping.  It will all work itself out.  It’ s my assumption, student loans will be gone once Pluto moves through Capricorn. Its sooner than later. Better than worse: rejoice.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

Don’t you think it should be a requirement for everyone on the planet to have these two simple experiences, these two basic ingredients to a life well lived….1. Travel outside your home country 2. Have a psychedelic experience.  These two events shake the roots just enough to release the pooling of stagment qi.  Do you agree with me Sag? I mean, when was the last time you partook in either of these activities??? Maybe this week??? If a documentary is all you can do, watch “War Dance.” It will suffice.

You have to try so hard to be weird in our culture.  Seriously, weird becomes the norm faster than ever before.  What is the weirdest thing you ever did to fit in? Did you color your hair some wack color, or wear ridiculous pants half way down your ass? When was the last  time you did something not to conform? Have you suppressed this urge? You playing by the book now? If so, I think its time to get your priorities straight, including your style.  There are plans to be made. So many plans.

Pisces (Febuary 19-March 21)

Where is there to run? All the good places are gone.  It’s dangerous out there. Maybe India would be a good place.  Just live like a sadhu for the next 50 years. But what about the sickness? Money? Family? (screw all that, just jump. Just do it) Don’t listen to that voice, its tongue is forked. (don’t listen to that voice, it doesnt have a tongue). What the hell is going on? You are rounding third, coming into the home stretch…your birthday is not too far away.  Ol’ Vern (vernal equinox) is preparing, yet another round–Spring again.  There are bounds of celestial energies supporting you this week.  A week where hopefully you touch the “Couger point.” It is a place (point) where one gets where you almost release from the matrix through physical exertion.  The world flashes in the mirror of a drop of your sweat falling from your straining brow. Savor this moment.

Taurus (April 20-May 2o)

Sooner or later, we all must go rounds with our “attachments.” We ignore our guilty facebook addictions as long as we would like, but eventually, we will face the truth: That even facebook is another obstacle on the path towards God.  It sucks, I know, but at least its getting nice enough outside to take your strolls again.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Indians are tricksters.  All of them. Dots and feathers. What I am referring to is Guru.  All the talk of Guru necessity.  Now a days, its not much different than selling a Coke, it is an attempt at selling an idea, the notion of student and “enlightened” Teacher.  This week, you discover Guru…guru in you! No more searching for Guru in Timbuktu. Guru is always coarsing through you.  And I’m a trickster too!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

It may feel like a main line has ruptured in the nexus of your subconscious interconnections, leaking out undesirables from past experiments into your present place. One of the experiments could involve the one of being a child to your parents.  The entire experiment of being their child may seem trippy to you as of late.  Just keep watching the cinema, it only gets better.  It is base material for what to come. Are you sick of jumping into this project, and into that? Are you on perpetual creative overload, or experiencing anxiety around the fact that you just can’t bring that experience to life…through a painting, a poem, or a song? It is my prayer that this Valentines day won’t be a stinger. If its not, great; if it is, understand this: When it comes right down to it, we are all androgynous.  We all have an Anima and Animus, we all have Mars and Venus, and testosterone and estrogene will always be produced in both of our bodies.  From the Phoenix’s perspective, all of our Love’s in life are simply preparing us to love our selves fully until we no longer have the need for “other.” The Union happens within.  So, if you are alone on Sunday, tap into your own “Inner Lover” and have a wild time.

I had a dream last night…I created a bumber sticker with a yogi looking Devendra Banhart cartoon on it which read, “Such is Sag.” Interesting, because the Moon had just moved into Sag as I was dreaming. Anyways…have you found your medicine? Have you forgotten your way, or are you just lost in the play? Know you can always be found, even momentarily.  You can find this place between a breathe. Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

Dale Pendell writes, “Ground state training is about discipline and attention.  This is a skill we share with hunters–like cats, or maybe frogs.” I would say cats and dogs–like buddha, or maybe Christ.  Ground state training is about learning to balance on the invisible center of the/your Universe.  Without anything to possibly lean on, without legs, you still can stand strong and brave.  This week, take a lesson from a frog…after all, you are an amphibious lil’ Buddha.

Aquarius (January 20-Feburary 18)

The mycellial mat is still growing.  The seeds are still being sown. The connections are still being made.  There is an (un)intentional network of enlightened minds, preparing to destroy all the shadows of this world.  The fireworks will come soon after. Why is it that in every culture many of the Dieties are depicted as being lazyangryarrogantsex-o-holics? I mean Shiva’s lingam (penis) was so sought after by every woman on the planet, that the Gods needed to intervene and put that thing in Shakti’s yoni for good.  It’s like they create things (i.e. the world) and then they just sit, dream, play, sing, and “f&%*.” Quite a life really.  I dare you to taste it.  Create something, let it go, and let yourself go all the same.  Drift down the novaicine river with padre Virgo,…maybe ya’ll will cross path’s along the way.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

While the Moon remains bright in the sky, it is a suggestion of mine for you to employ the mystik light of the Moon as a kind of flashlight for the soul.  What I mean by this is that the Moon can assist you into seeing what might be going wrong with your ignition switches.  If its anger, breathe before you react; if its worry, again, breathe deeper before you drown in defeating thoughts. You are diving into a week of fruition.  Allow yourself to receive the gifts.  There is no need for impatience, not this week.

Taurus (April 20-May 2o)

Invite them over…You have postponed your plans too long for this gathering.  You havent been cooking like you could either.  I wanna smell divine scents from where I am sitting.  I understand how the winter creates lazy creatures out of us, but seriously, why haven’t you invited them over yet?   Socialize, show them eyes, and remember the heart spies.  Have eyes for those spies.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

There is a friend of mine who has this song called “Jah knows,” and in the chorus of the song he sings, “Bury yourself in mountains of books or magazines, go off, run away to temples, real or imaginary…etc” The balloon filled with his music rose in my head when I got to you.  Do it; run away to impossible fantastical worlds of delight. Fill your senses.  Light the candles, burn the sage, and administer whatever else you deem neccessary for the stellar flight of the week ahead.  Go on, skip away.  Just remember to eat, sleep, and get a tad of exercise–enough to keep ya tip top.  Also, avoid copious amounts of caffeinated beverages. That was a warning. The Tortoise is just as wise as the Hare my twin.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

I know, I know, the demands of life are increasing at impossible speeds. The demands of living in 2010 are a riot.  All seems upside down. There may be armies of worries in your thought dreams lately, thoughts like “What will happen when it all falls down” or “I can’t relax…and why” or even “Why can’t I ever get a moment to myself…?” The answer: Because they got into you; the MEMES they created, they are in you now.  You must purge them.  Drink nothing but Yak butter tea for the next 7 days and end the cleanse with back to back yak butter enemas.  Intense? Yes, and so is my compassion for you!

Leo (July 23-August 22)

If it still feels like there are thousands of tiny beings ripping, pulling, pasting, and destroying the false image you once had for yourself, this is a good sign, your feelers are still functioning.  It’s not that God has it out for you, its just time, your time–ripe karma fruit.  You should participate in this process. At least offer to help take out the trash.  By the end of this, you will have received your kosmic makeover. I hope you dig your new look. ( a shiny mane perhaps?).

Virgo (Augest 23-September 22)

I believe it was Da Vinci who said, “ It is easier to resist at the beginning than at the end.” Mmm…a drifter isnt it–it really takes ya.  Catch anything in it? Basically, maybe its time to try another approach.  It’s hard washing windows when you know there’s pigeons on the roof;so lets learn from our past mistakes this week, and allow one finger at a time peel from the precipice of unhealthy control.  Fall into the scariest pit of unknown blackness, its your medicine.  After you have been devoured, I wanna hear your story.  Bet its worth tellin’.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

Listening is the skeleton key of all communication.  It is said Libra rules over listening.  I feel all the zodiac must listen, but you most intently (you and Leo).  The reason for this is because you are learning to relate, learning to be cool.  Somebody is going to say something this week that will change your life forever.  It will be one of those quotes you cannot forget.  But first you must make it through my challenge: This week, you will remember every single persons name you meet without fail.  It’s not as hard as you may think, you just have to care. (hint: use pneumonic devices). Once you do, you will find the treasure.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

Being ballzy aint easy.  It causes much stress to the organism.  Luckily, for you, this week looks like one of decompression.  All the scary chances and investments you made back in the Fall are budding now.  It’s an early Spring for you.  And before you hastely harvest, I must add that all power comes with a price.  Don’t allow the demons of greed and avarice weasel to far into your heart, they will consume you.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

The next ripple (or wave) created back there with the New year is a sleeper.  It may not look like a big swell, but this one could take you under.  Essentially, don’t think you are through everything..yet.  Patterns leave marks where they were working. There may even still be residuals from the day of your resolution still swimming inside you.  Summon your Inner Guru, equip yourself with feathers and the finest artillery of alchemical tools, and just do it.  Show yourself you have it in you to rise above the ashes once and for all.  There are faces in the darkness watching; flames flicker in their eyes. Expectantly they wonder, “Is he the One?”

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

There is an article I have written in my head entitled, “The Capricorn Monster.” It’s about the nature of the mutant Capricorn and how It is a “sphinx” of all the Cardinal constellations of the zodiac. Capricorn is an intensely strange, yet, competent alien lifeform (much like Pluto) that lives in the matrix of our Zodiac on Earth to better assist humans in acting out their destined role in society.  It’s such a grueling process isn’t it? Working for the Man and all.  Ideally, if we had it our way, I think we would all be naked doing yoga in Fiji, but Capricorn will not allow this, not this week.  The Karma police have strict rules governing our Soul’s desires.  You must accept this–to a degree–and do exactly what your heart desires.  The earthquakes have manifested in the external world, and they will continue in you until you liberate from your conditioned mind.

Aquarius (January 20-Feburary 18)

The first day my friend arrived in India, he plugged in his computer and it was hit by a power surge.  Sad really; he planned on blogging about his travels all over the sacred land.  It is said electricity is this way in India. it comes, it goes.  I find this to be a remarkable metaphor for your current state.  Do not attach to the brilliant moments when the power (the Muse) is on, or when it is not.  Life should be unpredictable.  Allow your life to be this way this week, and have no attachment to any particular outcomes for the results. It should be a liberating week, not one of forming knots in your neck.

Pisces (Febuary 19-March 21)

Hide the Netflix movies that just arrived, give away all the junk food in the house, and vow not to drink any intoxicating beverages for the next 7 days.  The reason for this drastic shift in your wintering mode is because it is time to do some early spring cleaning.  The doors of your perception need squigying (not correct spelling, but you know what I mean).  And on the 7th night, the Eve before we meet again, you can go out, get dinner and a movie, and let your heart sing! Happy days ahead my friend, happy days.
